Where are Tom Rossau lamps produced ?

All lamps are handmade at our workshop in Copenhagen, Denmark. Read more here.

Gently dust the lamp with a soft, dry cloth or a dust brush. Avoid using water or cleaning products on veneer surfaces. To read more about each material, see Maintance here.

Yes, bulbs can be replaced easily without tools. On the TR7, for example, you can gently open the lamellas to change the bulb. Always unplug the lamp before replacing the bulb. See specific Mounting Instructions here.

All lamps come fully assembled, except for our No.111 series, which requires simple assembly.

Most of our lamps are lightweight due to the thin wooden veneers and PC non-woven materials. The exact weight varies by model. Please note that the weight listed in our Masterdata refers to the full packaged product, not the lamp itself.

Delivery times vary depending on the model and customization, but most lamps are delivered within 3–5 weeks.

The recommended bulb type varies by model, but we generally suggest energy-efficient LED bulbs that provide a warm, soft light (2700K). We use 806 lumens as our standard. The exact bulb type and specifications for each model can be found in our Masterdata.

Over 90% of our materials are responsibly sourced within Europe, including our most used material, birch, which is responsibly sourced in Finland. Read more about our responsible design here.

Our lamps do not include dimmable light bulbs, only standard (non-dimmable) bulbs are provided. However, yes, our lamps are fully compatible with dimmable bulbs and appropriate dimmer switches. 

Yes, several models can be customized in different sizes, finishes, or materials. Contact us on flagship@tomrossau.dk for more information.

The cord length varies by model, but larger lamps typically come with a 3-meter cord as standard. Most lamps are supplied with a white cord, while some models come with a black cord by default.
